Education Initiative
Dream of accomplishing goal and setting benchmark for self is linked to skill set of the student. Right education and coaching is very important to develop the required skill set. The cost of education is increasing at alarming pace within India and abroad. But, the weak economic condition is considered as the constraint for many students from the community from achieving their dream.
In the above milieu, the Trust, considering the weak economic condition, because of which a large number of Bunt children remain un-educated or fail to have higher education, started a novel scheme of extending Interest Free Education loan in the year 1997 to needy bunt children. It was the belief of the Trust that once empowered; these students make our community proud. Since then, the scheme has been receiving enthusiastic response from students from the community. This has enabled students to pursue higher studies in streams such as Engineering, Medicine, Para-medical, Law and Pharmacy, A large number of such students have pursued further higher education from premier institutes in India and abroad. The most heartening thing is that almost half of the beneficiaries are girls. The Interest free Loan scheme of the Trust, it is believed, unleashes the potential of the youth of our community to grow into leaders in their respective fields.

The Trust is playing its role to protect and promote our priceless heritage to not only sustain but also make art and culture relevant to the younger generation. Ours is a land of diverse cultures and it is our endeavor to ensure that the youth appreciates and connects with its rich heritage and arts. In this direction, the Trust brought out a Book-both in Kannada and English-Bunts in History and culture. The Book, it is believed, will help understand the rich heritage that our forefathers have bequeathed to the posterity to follow.
Further, with an avowed objective to promote and foster community connection with the Traditional Folk art of Coastal Districts of Karnataka viz.
